Details
The name Amethyst Sage derives from the purple huges (caused by lithium) that are frequently found
in this material and the manganese dentrites that resemble sagebrush.
Amethyst Sage comes from the foothills of the Pueblo Mountains in Nevada.
The tan exterior is soft, unusable clay. The quartz potions will usually take a good polish.
The visible cracks are largely not an issue for cabbing, with the exception of two.
The quartz areas (the only useable areas) are translucent.
